Advanced Driving Taster - Andover 10th Oct 2009

Ever wondered what advanced driving was all about or just fancied seeing if you can better your driving?

Announcing a "taster" day to give people the opportunity to see what advanced driving is all about and whether it's for them, as well as getting some feedback on their driving. On hand there will be people who are members of IAM, RoSPA and the High Performance Club, but above all they will be driving and car enthusiasts. The day will be based in Andover, Hampshire on Saturday 10th October 2009 and is open to all irrespective of driving experience.

The format is each "tastee" is paired with an experienced advanced driver and each person takes it in turn to drive their own car around one of the short suggested routes, (35-45 miles), with the other person navigating and offering feedback (all the coaches appreciate feedback too). The plan is that this takes place in a friendly, informal atmosphere, so that everybody has a good time and ends up wanting to do it again. Ideally everyone learns some more about driving as well
