Title really, how do I do it so it shows on my post?

The image needs to be hosted somewhere, on a web server or maybe FlickR or Photobucket. Once you have the URL (address of the image on the net) you can then use the URL tags (button when posting) to reference your image. Other information on this topic is also the FAQ.
