If I wanted to delete my membership of the members only fora, how would I do that?

Apologies if it's obvious & I've missed it.

Could you not just not log-in if you don't want to read all that stuff? I assume all logged-in users are "members" by definition.

Yes absolutely. And for the most part I don't! But it just occurred to me that if I wanted to end my membership I couldn't actually figure out how. Given how easy it usually is to unsubscribe from unwanted stuff with (more or less) 1 click I just wonder if I'm looking but not seeing.

You certainly aren't the only person who has had that thought over the past week.

Turns out you can also mute posts from certain posters. That really really helps, I find.

You can't remove yourself - an admin has to delete your account. The ability to access Members Only is linked to the existence of your account.

Obviously you can unsubscribe from emails, notifications etc.

That's got to a better option than losing a valuable contributor.

With the recent upturn in discussion about improving the way we help our associates, it'd be a shame to miss out on the input of someone with interesting things to say on the subject.

I also hope you (all) continue to contribute. I'm not going to get stuck into the details of what's wrong, but all forums have periodic ups and downs, the engaging and the disagreeable.

It's also quite possibly your fault that I'm here, so I don't think you should be able to slink away now.
