Luckily for me I live a couple of miles from "Mercedes Benz World", I thought I would do a short entry to make others aware of what it is and what you can do there.
Based in Weybridge, Surrey (aka Brooklands) this Car Sales Showroom / Museum / Driving Day Experience has been built by Mercedes to honour their racing success's, namely winning the Montagu Cup in 1907 at the Brooklands Race Course.
It offers a family day out for many reasons. Admission is free, as is parking, and once inside you are able to look at, touch and sit in every single Mercedes vehicle EVER built. There is history, facts, statistics and a variety of customer driving experiences including skid pans, advanced handling skills, off-road action, slalom runs, track runs and insight into how to make best use of some of the technology found in today's cars. All this can be in a Mercedes of your choice. These experiences cater from co-operate functions down to half day's for individuals. There are restaurants and cafe's on sight as well as numerous baby changing facilities. Also on hand are Mercedes staff to arrange test drives through to car purchase, Simulators, Maybach Suite, Conference Suites, Computer Design Studio's and much more.
